Someone posted these signs all around this little subdivision. The city "bulldozes" the snow at the end of the streets to get snow off the roads. Kids are apparently upset about it.
It says: "Bulldozers are recing [wrecking] childrens snowhills of imajanation" You can click on the image to go to a larger view.

Oh yes. . . you and Carol definitely need to make it out to Shelter Island. You would love it. I would plan at least a week if I were you. It is such a beautiful place.
